1. Keynote Speaking:

HeartWork: The Power of Black Women Healing Together

Description:

Dr. Quiana M. Shamsid-Deen doesn’t just speak; she creates portals for reflection, release, and reimagining. Her keynotes are rooted in lived experience, scholarship, and sacred story. She speaks to the beauty and burden of being a Black woman in a world that often demands our strength but rarely tends to our softness.

With poetic truth and professional depth, she guides audiences through the layers of identity, intergenerational resilience, and what she calls HeartWork, the communal labor of returning to ourselves, together.

Her talks aren’t centered on grief but on remembrance, reconnection, and reawakening. She invites Black women to reimagine what healing looks like, not in isolation but in sisterhood.

Signature Themes:

  • The Ethics of Holding Space: Supporting Without Saving

  • Beyond the Strong Black Woman: Embracing Soft Power

  • Collective Care as Cultural Resistance

  • Ritual, Reflection, and Reconnection in Women’s Circles

Booking: Available for conferences, panels, wellness events, academic institutions, and spiritual communities. Custom topics available upon request.

2. Healing Circles: Soft Spaces for Black Women to Be:

HeartWork: The Power of Black Women Healing Together

Description:

Sacred Circles are not support groups. They are soul rooms.

Small, intimate, and lovingly curated, these gatherings offer Black women a rare thing: a space to just be. No performance. No masks. No need to be “strong.”

Led by Dr. Quiana, each Sacred Circle is a brave space for vulnerability and truth-telling, where women are invited to cry without explanation, laugh without restraint, and speak without shrinking.

These sessions center:

  • Voice & Visibility

  • Cultural Care & Emotional Safety

  • Reflection, Ritual, and Restoration

  • Honoring the sacred in everyday softness

  • Healing in community

Structure:
Groups of 8–12 women. Held in person or virtually. Includes guided discussion, grounding exercises, reflection prompts, and optional rituals (such as journaling, breathwork, or storytelling circles).

Ideal for: Corporate wellness, nonprofit teams, woman groups, or private gatherings.

3. Sisterhood Slumber: A Soft Return to Joy:

Remember the sacred silliness of girlhood sleepovers? The giggles, the heart talks, the popcorn and playlists, the way we felt held and seen by our sisters?

“Sisterhood Slumber” is a reimagined retreat experience—one that blends nostalgic joy with intentional care. It’s a weekend designed for Black women to rest, release, and return to themselves through laughter, love, and collective softness.

Hosted by Dr. Quiana, these small-group retreats are designed to repurpose joy as a healing practice. Through curated activities, storytelling circles, shared meals, and unstructured rest time, Sisterhood Slumber offers what we crave most: the freedom to exhale in the presence of those who get it.

What to Expect:

  • Intimate group size (10–15 max)

  • Cozy accommodations + curated welcome gifts

  • Communal meals with love and culture at the center

  • Journaling, affirmation building, and creative workshops

  • Optional grief-free zone time for laughter, games, and release

  • Sacred bedtime rituals: tea, wind-down talks, and softness
